Kernel Hearts Tools Hub

Specs, binds, and setup so the curse clock is the hard part — not your GPU.

Tools Hub

This hub is the practical drawer: can your PC run it, and how do you bind dodge. Kernel Hearts does not ship a public damage calculator or a 256KB planner with official APIs. Anyone posting a “chip optimizer” the week before September 17 is guessing. We will not fake a tool that invents KB costs.

Use these pages instead:

  • System requirements — Steam minimum and recommended, 15 GB disk, co-op caveat.
  • Controls — gamepad vs keyboard, what to rebind, DualShock / DualSense notes.
  • Pre-order and platforms — Steam vs Epic, Fortnite Fernet outfit, price, what not to buy.

Gameplay tools that look like tools but are articles:

Launch-week setup order

  1. Read specs. A GTX 1060-class card is the Steam minimum for 1080p Low/Medium. Laptops with that as a sticker often lie about cooling.
  2. Install the demo if you are on PC. It is the benchmark that matters more than a list of CPUs.
  3. Open controls in the training area, not in a B-Cho pack.
  4. Confirm your store: Steam vs Epic (Fernet Fortnite outfit is Epic-only). Full buy-brain: pre-order. Date table: release date.
  5. Only then theorycraft chips.

What we will not host

  • Account generators, cracked clients, or “script” pages. This is a paid console and PC game.
  • Unofficial trainers. They break backups and get you ignored in co-op.
  • Copied Trello boards that are not linked from Official Links.

If the studio ships a public roadmap, it belongs on the links page, not as a fake Kanban here. The honest tools in week one are still a notepad for spell names, a voice call for pings, and the training dummy. Anything that claims to solve Folktale Fields for you is selling a screenshot.

Getting Started for the hour-one loop. Updates for demo patches that change feel more than any overlay will. Players once the machine actually boots.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you climb the Tower of Babel.

Is there a Kernel Hearts chip calculator?

Not an official one. Use chips and builds for spending habits. Do not trust a random 256KB spreadsheet before launch notes print costs.

Where are the PC specs?

On the system requirements page, copied from Steam’s minimum and recommended lists.

Keyboard or controller?

Steam marks a gamepad as recommended. Both work. Bind dodge first — controls.

Will you add a map tool?

Folktale Fields is an open meadow, not a pinboard MMO map. A floor checklist lives in the demo walkthrough.
