Kernel Hearts Angels and Enemies

Biblical monsters with jobs — casters, flyers, statues that wake, and a bar that hires more of them.

Angels and Enemies

Official copy calls them angelic creatures and biblical monsters. Store text is poetry. The demo is a bestiary with about six jobs you can actually name. This page is those jobs. It is not a fake Pokedex for seven unpublished Heavens. When a later floor prints a new silhouette, add it from the client, not from a concept sheet.

The combat guide is how you press buttons. Bosses is the domain guardian exam. Tower and Heavens is where the packs stand. This article is what is standing there. The official trailer above is the studio’s own picture of the choir. Use it for silhouette and tone. Use Folktale Fields for hitboxes.

Folktale Fields — First Heaven jobs

B-Cho Casters. Ground pack. They want range and time. Interrupt or close. Leaving two alive while you greed a relic is a wipe seed. Epic’s hands-on uses this name; so do demo captures. Treat “B-Cho” as the caster family, not one monster with a wiki number.

Pixips. Air. They punish players who never spend mana. Fernet’s Raiquen and Spika’s Sangetsu exist for this job. Jumping forever is not a plan. Fernet, Spika.

Petrified angels. Scenery until you smack them. Then they are a tax on loot goblins. Epic is explicit: they wake if hit. Community labels on Fields statues include Punished Angel and Slimus Knight. Those names are demo-era community tags. If your damage numbers do not match a video from March, the August retune already explained why.

Kadmiel. A hidden Fields encounter in community notes, not a roaming pack. Do not wander the meadow hunting a secret name on your first clear. Flag it on the third backup, the same way Epic’s writer found a glowing loop pile after dying twice. Demo walkthrough.

Early packs feel easy. That is the difficulty bar lying. The same casters at 70% are a different game.

Ash Desert — later demo slice

Long captures label this Third Heaven / Shehaqim: worse sightlines, underground rooms, breakable floors, firepits. Named community enemies include B-Cho variants, Leviathan, and petrified Yomi, Juggernaut, Groundsmasher. Treat the first visit as a scout. If your chip page only works on Fields grass, the desert will say so. Chips and builds.

Do not copy a “Leviathan cheese” from a playtest map that is not in your folder. Skybound Citadel and The Gate are older slices.

Status language, not a status wiki

Relic and memento text in demo catalogs throws around Heavencrawl, Divine Searing, Curse, Hex Mark, Judgement, and a Sin meter. Those are floor seasonings tied to mementos and relics. Log the icon when you see it. Do not theorycraft a cleanse build from a tooltip you read on a screenshot.

Heavenly Curse is the one status that is also a player resource. Filling it to transform buffs remaining enemies. Popping true form in a Pixip swarm can save you. Popping it to “skip” a petrified angel you woke on purpose is how the bar hires a choir. Transformation.

How to fight a pack without a bestiary

  1. Name the job, not the Latin. Caster, flyer, statue, elite. The name on the health bar is flavor until it is a guardian.
  2. Kill the choir first if you are solo. Co-op: one player is add duty. Four people hitting the big silhouette while casters free-cast is the Fields wipe. Co-op.
  3. Do not wake statues for fun while the bar is ugly.
  4. Crevasses can hide stone angels and souls. Drop once on purpose. Catapults exist so you can leave. Tower map.
  5. Extract knowledge. A backup that taught you Pixips eat saber mashers is a successful run even if the guardian lived.

What is not here

A complete angel list. Frame data. Elemental weaknesses as a table. “Best unit versus Leviathan.” Launch will add domains. Community pages still have redlinks where a full bestiary should be. We will not fill those with guesses.

Play Folktale Fields until B-Cho and Pixip are boring. Boring is the skill that transfers to whatever biblical noun September 17 prints next.

Combat combos for the buttons. Bosses for the exam at the end of the meadow. Unlock units if the enemy you care about is the one that unlocks Spika.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you climb the Tower of Babel.

What enemies are in the Kernel Hearts demo?

Folktale Fields leans on B-Cho casters, Pixips, and petrified angels that wake if hit. Later slices add harsher packs. A full bestiary is not public.

Should I fight petrified angels?

Only if you can pay the tax. Hitting them wakes them. They are optional until greed makes them not optional.

Is Kadmiel a boss?

Community notes treat Kadmiel as a hidden Fields encounter, not the domain guardian. The Fields exam is covered on bosses.

Do enemies scale in co-op?

Expect more chaos and a greedier bar. Play like adds still kill you, because they do. Co-op.
